Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie from Bakerella or from Me & My Pink Mixer
1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened (1 1/2 sticks)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped pecans (I omitted these)
** If using a frozen pie shell, use deep dish style and thaw completely. Bake on baking sheet and increase baking time slightly. Preheat oven 325 degrees F.
Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high until foamy.
Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter.
Stir in morsels and nuts (optional) and spoon into pie shell.
Bake for 55-60 minutes. Cool on wire. Serve warm. (Mine actually only took about 50 mins)
I drizzled a little milk chocolate on the top just to add some color! I was kind of in a hurry so it was the prettiest but that's ok!
Serve warm with ice cream...it is delicious!
This looks DELISH. All this needs is that scoop of ice cream you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteSo we're talking a pie AND a cookie all in one bite? My favorite part of a pie is the crust, so this is perfect for me. I think you've got a winner here!
ReplyDeleteMy aunt makes chocolate chip pie for the holidays every year. It is quite delicious!
